No, Ingersoll Rand air starters cannot operate in different rotational directions, however there are both right hand and left hand rotating models available in most of the available series. Once the starter is assembled it will only rotate in the direction that it was built to rotate in, so you would need a different model starter depending on the directional rotation that you require.
